Mumbai: Subrata Roy, founder and chairman of the Sahara Group, breathed his last on Tuesday, November 14, after an extended battle with complications arising from metastatic malignancy, hypertension, and diabetes. He was 75. He was admitted Kokilaben Hospital on Sunday.

Roy, a man of immense vision and unwavering determination, built the Sahara Group from the ground up, transforming it into a multifaceted business empire with a presence across various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, finance, and media. His entrepreneurial spirit and astute leadership were instrumental in shaping the group’s success.
